tail Party style wedding reception or family style seated dinner? Any help?

I think the tail type of thing is more fun, lets people mingle and chat more and weddings can be a prime occasion to talk to people you might not see very often. But if you have any number of older folks who might not want to stand around for a long time, make sure you have some tables so people can take a load off their feet.
