What video format will both the PS3 and Xbox 360 play?

I know the PS3 plays most formats right out of the box, with the exception of WMV. I know the 360 plays WMV for sure, but I'm looking for a format that both systems will play without doing an update or enabling WMA playback on the system (since there's no internet connection).
