How do Penn Foster College payment plans work?

If you're enrolled in automatic payments with Penn Foster College, and you wish to continue to Semester Two, do you set up an additional payment schedule and continue to pay on Semester One, or do you consolidate both Semesters to a single payment? I'm confused as to how the automatic payment plan works as you're going through the program. Thanks!
