Missing a period on the pill?

I'm going on a beach holiday next week, which is when i'll be on my period. I'm currently on the pill and i was thinking instead of having my 7 day break i'll just carry on taking my pills so i dont have a period, i know it's safe if you do it just once, but i'm just wondering if i'll have any breakthrough bleeding, because obviously i wanna be prepared if theres any chance i could still bleed. thanks :)
